I nursed all three of my babies and never really noticed allergies or sensitivities. But I have TWO friends right now who feel like their newborns are fussier when they eat dairy products. Has anyone else ever noticed this?

I definitely noticed it with my first. Dark eczema patches and other topical issues were first. The doctor brushed off my concerns. Eventually he had blood in his stool and the doctor finally suggested to cut dairy out of my diet while i nursed. This worked immediately and everything cleared up except one eczema patch that became a scar/mark. I also decided to switch doctors because i didn’t feel heard until it was too late. After weaning we stuck to milk alternatives wherever possible.

Today, after testing, we know he does have a lactose sensitivity, so its not as serious as an allergy or an intolerance, but still causes reactions and should be reduced.
