Kids will have a blast with 'zoo-learning' science, nature play and conservation! All Camps are scheduled from 8:30a-3:30p. . Our camps are educational and encourage active learning through games, crafts, age-appropriate explorations, and special encounters with a variety of our resident animals. Camp 365: School’s Out Camp – President’s Day

Have you heard? At the J, camp isn't just a summer activity. In fact, we have year-round camp activities. When school is out the J is in! Days are structured like our summer camps, meaning you get a full day of fun activities such as sports, crafts, games, swimming, and more. This is the perfect way to introduce new campers to Camp LJCC and veteran campers will get to reconnect with all of their old friends from summer. Camp is from 9AM-3:30PM with options for Before Care (7-9AM) and After Care (3:30-6PM). The Great Backyard Bird Count 2019

Be a citizen scientist and join in the Great Backyard Bird Count 2019! Meet with OMSP Park Naturalist at the Oak Mountain Interpretive Center at 10 am for a quick introduction and overview of bird count details. We will go birding on the way to the Alabama Wildlife Center where we will then count as many birds as we can in the observation room at the feeders for an hour! Our data will be used by scientists to better understand and help our avian friends! Stroller friendly! No dogs please.
