As the mom of a four-year-old and a toddler, I know firsthand how hard it can be to find the time for self-care and exercise. I also know how important fitness is for physical and mental health, especially in the growing and raising children phase of life. To address the fitness needs of busy moms I have created Strong Like a Mom, an online fitness group. The purpose of the group is to provide fitness programming and community. I have been so fortunate to find my mom tribe, not only in person but in online communities. Support from people who are in the thick of this mom-life thing is so helpful.
The Strong Like a Mom program provides strength training workouts that are between 20-40 minutes long. Additional coaching and support will be available from me through the Facebook group. These workouts can be done from home, on your own time, with minimal equipment. There are prenatal and postpartum exercise programs tailored to safely keep your changing body strong. There is also plenty of instruction focused on keeping the core and pelvic floor safe during pregnancy and to aid in recovery after birth.
