Day Designer $49-$59

day designer planner flagship mini

The Day Designer is the perfect planner for extremely busy moms who need to organize their days in order to maximize productivity. The Flagship planner is 9″ wide x 9.75″ tall and has space to schedule events from 5 AM to 9 PM as well as a list of 17 to-do’s. For mom’s who are balancing work or maybe even their own business plus taking care of kids and home this planner can really help to organize everyday life. The Day Designer allocates a page to every week day with Saturday and Sunday sharing a page. As you can imagine, with most days having their own page the planner is a bit bulky. However, for super busy moms the trade off of a large planner for more space to write plans and to-do’s may be worth it.

If the size of the day designer is going to be an issue for you they also have a mini edition that is 6.625” wide x 8.3” tall. This edition is slightly different because the schedule portion of the daily pages go from 7 AM to 7 PM and has 13 to-do’s as apposed to 17. So it all comes down to if you want more room and a bigger planner or slightly less room and a more portable planner. Either way you can’t go wrong with the structured pages of the Day Designer.

The Erin Condren Life Planner is all about creating a customizable, colorful, fun, planning system for every woman. They have an array of layouts, sizes, color options, and customizable planner covers. With their planner layouts, you have an option of choosing a horizontal, vertical, or hourly layout. They also have the option to choose between silver, gold, rose gold, and black coil colors. In addition to customizable layouts and coil colors they also have personalized interchangable covers to swap out on a whim. For another layer of customization they also have the option to choose between a colorful or neutral design. All of the layouts that Erin Condren provides are one week on two page formats. This is great for moms who don’t need a whole page allocated for every day like with the Day Designer planner.

The Emily Ley Simplified Planner is another daily planner option that is very similar to the Day Designer. Like the Day Designer, the Simplified Planner allocates one page for every week day with weekends sharing a page. However, the design of the Simplified planner is less monochromatic and more simplistic in design for lack of a better word. The monthly tabs on the simplified planner feature alternating colors while the day designer’s are gold. In other words, the simplified planner goes for a more light-hearted approach approach to a daily life organizer.

Happy Planner $20-$35

The Happy Planner is another highly customizable planner option that is much like the Erin Condren planner in terms of layout options. However, this planner functions within a disc-bound system rather than the coil that the Erin Condren features. This planner comes in three size options. The Mini Happy planner is 5.125” wide x 7.5” tall. The Classic Happy Planner is 7.75” wide x 9.75” tall. The Big Happy Planner is 9” wide x 11.25” tall. The three size options offer an array of sizes to fit the needs of every mom. If  you would prefer to take your planner everywhere with you, you may prefer the smallest option for maximum portability. In contrast, if your planner is going to stay on your desk you may be alright with getting the biggest size to have more room to write. The advantage of the disc bound binding system that this planner uses is that you can add or remove pages with ease. Mom’s who want to randomly add in notes, grocery lists, or even their child’s school schedule might appreciate this.

Closing Thoughts

All of these planner options have great features that can make them a great organizing tool for moms. It all comes down to preferred planning style, design, and price range. No matter which planner you choose, having a space to write down all of your upcoming events and to-do’s is invaluable in the life of moms.
